About Frank


Dr. Frank T. Fields III was born and raised in the heart of District C in Raleigh, NC.  He is the son of Frank and Belva Fields and is the eldest brother of a large six-child household.  Dr. Fields is a proud, life-long member of Martin St. Baptist Church located in the heart of District C.  Frank and his wife Raquelle, of Fuquay- Varina NC, have just welcomed their first child, Amelia, to the world on July 6th, 2021.

Educational Background
Dr. Fields attended undergrad at North Carolina State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Animal Science. Frank was also a varsity member of the Football team at NCSU. He then attended Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC where he received his Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. During his Master’s program, Frank studied abroad in France on Comparative Management. Finally, he attended North Carolina State University and received a Ph.D. in Leadership, Policy and Development.

Dr. Fields has over 10 years of experience at Wake Technical Community College serving in several roles primarily as an educator, wellness advocator and scholar leader. In his most recent role, Frank was an operations leader servicing a campus that served mainly College & Career Readiness students seeking Adult High School, GED or English as a Second Language credentials. The campus that he was responsible for also housed Robotics, Advanced Manufacturing and Cosmetology labs along with a host of other continuing education programs. Frank was elected to Wake Technical Community College’s Staff Council in 2020 and also was awarded the Staff Leadership Award in 2018.
Frank and his wife Raquelle are the owners of a family-operated local mobile detailing business. They pride themselves in being small-business owners serving the Greater Raleigh Area.
